El equipo nacido de un equipo de basquet,DEPORTIVO LA PLATA..( calle 71 e 1 y 2 ) comenzo a dar sus primeros pasos..luego de un partido organizado por jugadores de el llamado equipo albiazul SPORTIVO TALLARIN F.C. , lo cual.luego de ese mismo encuentro quedo definido como el derby del apodado "cane".

Deportivo Canelon..hace de local en la mistica cancha de 72 y 116.

Dicho historial.el cane lleva 4 partidos jugados,( 3 oficiales) frente a el talla.en los que vencio solo una ves.en el ultimo partido disputado.RESULTADOS DE TODOS LOS ENFRENTAMIENTOS 2 a 4.,(DERROTA) 10 a 6 (DERROTA).8 a 3 (VICTORIA) ( no oficial) y 4 a 2 ( VICTORIA)
